John Davids is one of the systems administrators at the Driving Safety Research Institute (DSRI). He joined the University of Iowa as a student intern for the CIO Office in 2006. While there, he developed a new course for the university entitled Core IT Support Skills (SITS:3102:0001 (416:102:001)). After development, he led most sessions of the course throughout the summer. In late 2006 he transferred to DSRI as a junior systems administrator. After graduation in 2008, Mr. Davids went to work for General Dynamics as a lead site administrator supporting IT infrastructure in U.S. Federal Government call centers across the country. In 2018, he rejoined the DSRI family as a full-time systems administrator.
